I started WiNSBE as a subdivision of the NSBE UCSD chapter. Being a minor percentage of engineering students as Black women at UCSD, our vision is a significant increase in and a retention of Black female students and professionals in STEM. So far, we have collaborated with other UCSD orgs (SWE, oSTEM, and BSU), and with external chapters: Sistas in STEM (SiS) at Stanford & Sisters in STEM (SiSTEM) at USC. Learn More
