Hi, I’m Muno —
I am a Senior Associate Data Scientist at the Bank of New York (BNY).
M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence & Innovation, Carnegie Mellon University ’24.
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Machine Learning & Controls), University of California San Diego ‘22.
My interests span artificial intelligence, product management, and business development. I’m particularly enthusiastic about the breakthroughs and lessons learned in AI development, as well as their potential to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Prototyping a Well-Designed Pinball System
The objective of this project was to develop mechanical and electronic prototyping skills to build, test, and assess a functional pinball machine system that meets specific requirements.
WearAbout: Home-Location Monitoring for Seniors with Alzheimer’s
A solution for senior’s with Alzheimer’s (RFID Door tag and Wristband Wearable RFID Reader System with a Mobile Application for remote monitoring). The final outcome is a business plan proposal with an executive summary, company summary, market research, product summary, marketing/sales strategy, operations plan, financial plan and legal and administrative information.
License Plate Number Recognition
The objective of this project was to perform image analysis with optical character recognition on a series of license plate images stored in a SQL database and print the detected numbers on a Pyramid app using JavaScript and HTML.
The Evolution of Human-Computer Interaction
A timeline of some of the most important phases of computing history (difference engine, usability, software psychology, GOMS, activity theory, etc) that defined the development of the technologies we know and love today. Featuring some notable pioneers like Ada Lovelace, J.C.R Licklider, Vannevar Bush, and Claude Shannon.
Predictive Modeling using KNN and Logistic Regression
This was a data modeling and analysis course project. The aim was complete a prediction task using exploratory data analysis (EDA), label encoding, cross-validation, splitting, regression, and classification. Then, compare the models to find the better one for prediction.
Extended Reality Research: Reinforcement Learning with Unreal Game Engine
This research led by Jon Paden. It was a collaboration between the UC San Diego division of Calit2 (Qualcomm Institute) and the Arthur C Clarke Center for Human Imagination (ACCHI). The goal was to explore the capabilities of Epic Game's Unreal Engine in deploying campus-wide Extended Reality (XR) experiences.
Playtonic App: A Friend-Making Experience for Students
A guided friend-making experience to help break the ice in large org meetings. The goal is to use interactive games to reduce social anxiety at large org meetings and get members comfortable with each other.
K-Means Clustering Algorithm Mathematical Presentation
A mathematical presentation on the K-means clustering algorithm using these Python libraries: NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Pandas.
Speaker with 3D-Printed Camera-Modeled Enclosure
A 3D printed enclosure for an audio amplifier designed from the Fuji Instax Polaroid camera. Functionality includes increasing/decreasing volume, turning the speaker on/off.
Line-Following Robot
This lab has to do with both the software and hardware aspect of electrical engineering by programming the robot and building its structure respectively.
